The morning is shrouded in thick fog until we get to Winchester Bay for first sag of the day. We skirt Lake Marie and grind up the hill to Hwy 101 and on to Hauser and North Bend.
The fog lifts and we have some sun ...for awhile anyway. In the distance is the McCullough bridge, completed in 1937. We're forced to walk across due to construction on the west side guardrails.
We stopped in Charleston for a sag stop and then grunted up 7 Deveils road toward Bandon. Here's Gary in front of Bandon Dunes Golf Course entrance. Yes, we pedaled through for an upclose look. Really nice afternoon.
